The pain of having a fatal disease is a situation quite difficult for every human being. More so, if at the moment of the diagnosis, life smiles at you in full.

But the faith in God is an absolute power, and Juan Díaz experienced that himself, when on 1996 doctors gave up hope of his recovery due to a leukemia (blood cancer) he suffered.

“It was something very difficult for me, but thanks to the natural medicines, I´m cured, and that was confirmed by the physicians who have followed my recovery”, assured Díaz.

According to Díaz, at that time he worked in the National Police and some co-workers took him to the botanist Diomedes Ureña, who gave him some treatments that in a short period of time, gave him his health and life back.

He had spent nearly four years confined to a wheel chair, the same one that now he doesn´t use at all because, assisted with a support device, he can manage himself and carry out his normal activities, as anybody else.

“Those were pretty difficult years for me and my family. Thanks to God, now I am healthy and ready to move on”.

Today, Díaz is a bus driver in Tocumen, and despite the difficult of the situation, he struggles every day to provide for his family.

Aged 32, pensioned for his disease and with desires to go on, this Panamanian looks at life with optimism and he only asks for help to get a bus quota to have something of his own to carry on with.

Grateful to God, his family and Dr. Diomedes Ureña, Juan Díaz is one of the many Panamanian who with lot of faith smiles at life, again.
